Well, I made this card last week for someone – male of course – I just need to focus on making male cards i think.  Anyways, thought I’d share since it turned out pretty cute. I’ll enter it into the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge blog too.

graduate 2014

I used Winnie and Walter stamps from the Big Bold you line with the patterned paper from the Fancy Pants Be Different line. The graduate hat was something I found in my children’s stash, so not sure on that.

Here’s another couple of cards I’ve made over the past couple weeks.  I was trying out the stencil and had to use what I made so this card arose. Supplies used: the Simon Says Stamp Stars and Dots stencil as well as their All Boy stamp “Dude”.The “you” die cut and coordinated stamp is also from Simon Says Stamp.  Tag die is from Sizzix.

Dude you will be missed

This next card was inspired by Mama Mo, ok more like copied. Hey, when you find something you like, copy!

congrats you are awesome May 14

Supplies used were Winnie & Walter Big Bold You, Studio Calico’s Sketchbook, Anna Marie Sugardot Stickers, Mark Richards Nailheads and a silver star from my stash as well as washi tape.

I think I like it so much I may make one for someone who just graduated.

Here’s the original card:

Well Here’s a birthday card I made.  I’m trying to focus on more masculine birthday cards since I work with 6 guys and I know there’s some birthdays coming up. So I broke out the sewing machine anyways.  I hadn’t used it in a while and I thought this was the perfect way to adhere the two pieces of paper together.

male birthday

This is using the Fancy Pants paper out of the May 2014 Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp.  I also used a coordinating chipboard button by Fancy Pants.  The happy stamp is by a new company Winnie & Walter. I used versamark ink with a buff colored embossing powder but felt it was to washed out so I added some G07 Copic Marker to the embossing to help make it pop a little more. The Birthday die cut is from Papertrey Ink using October Afternoon paper.
